I’ve been invited to speak as part of a regular monthly meeting, and I’m wondering if the group should get their regular business done first, and then have me close out the night, or vice versa?
Perfect question! How can you capitalize on when you appear? It shouldn’t matter, really, you can still sell from the stage. However, I’d definitely have them get their business out of the way first. You always want to see if you can get a 10- or 20-minute break after you speak so that people can come back and talk to you and buy your products.
Even if the event only lasts one hour, and you’re the last person to speak, you can still make sales.
Have you tried this? I’d love your comments about how it went for you!
