The path for most entrepreneurs is sitting alone in front of their computer, struggling to grow their business and reinventing the wheel again and again.

I know, I did that briefly myself.

Then I discovered the magic of masterminding, and my business was never the same. The first year I was in a very high-level mastermind group, my income shot from $130,000 to $2.2 million. Yes, I was shocked!

I’m now in my fourth year of leading my own highly successful Sales, Authenticity and Success (SASSY) Mastermind, and it seems like a good time to reflect upon just why masterminding is so powerful.

The magic that people experience seems to come down to these 3 things:

Clarity. In a mastermind like ours, you get clarity on the direction in which you’re going. You get clear on who you’re serving, what you love to do and how to structure your business so that it serves you and your clients at the highest level.

Confidence. When you invest in yourself at a high level, you demonstrate a huge level of commitment. This lights a fire under you and right away you start having out-of-the box ideas, which in many cases lead to unprecedented results — which builds your confidence.

For example, weeks after I took the super-scary leap and invested in my first mastermind, I got inspired to make irresistible offers that were so courageous—beyond what I’d ever been able to imagine for myself—that for the first time ever I made more than $30,000 in just one month! I’ve seen this kind of leap take place over and over again with my clients right after they invest in themselves.

You don’t hold yourself back because you’re afraid of failing. Instead, you forge ahead, knowing your community and mentor are there for you with feedback, guidance and support. You surprise yourself with what you’re capable of doing!

The Bottom Line: When you’re going it alone, your clarity, confidence and capability just don’t grow at the same rate or intensity as when you’re masterminding in a high-level group.

In order to reach our potential and serve the people we’re meant to serve, we entrepreneurs have to consciously create our support structure and community in an environment that will stretch us beyond what we would do when nobody is looking.

Masterminding in a high-level group is the very best way I’ve ever found to do that!
