Lisa, you are so right to make sure the mentors are doing what they are teaching.
Why would you want to follow someone who is not doing their thing.
You learn it first, then live it, finally teach. Learn, live, teach should be the goal of a mentor.
Agree?
Lisa,
Thank you for sharing, I am about to attend a coaching seminar and keeping these points in mind will help me to make an informed decision. With that being said, isn’t each one of us a decision maker and those of us trying to promote or sell our products decision getters?
Good points here Lisa. Follow this advice people. I’ve had a number of mentors over the years, but none as effective as my current one. This piece affirms my choice in my mentor and how well it’s working! Thanks for sharing this!
I’m amazed, I have to admit. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s both equally educative and amusing, and without a doubt, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The issue is an issue that not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy I stumbled across this in my hunt for something concerning this.
Thank you for the tips regarding the importance of choosing a mentor that is right for me.
I enjoyed the guideline of one who learns, then lives and then teaches the subjects i wish to learn about.
You are a teacher.
Thanks
Helen
