How do I determine if the niche I’ve chosen is too big?

One way to evaluate is ask yourself, “Does what I do compliment, but not compete, with the hosts of the stages and tele-seminars I’d like to speak to?” If you can niche yourself enough that your work is a great compliment but does not threaten other hosts, you will get booked a lot. For example, my specialty is on converting sales, so I like to book speakers who teach lead generation on my stages. It’s a piece that I do well in my business, but I don’t want to be the go-to expert for it. Stay in your court so you can support and be supported by complimentary service professionals.
