What if It’s Not About You?

Boundaries PresentationSometimes people are afraid to make an offer, even when it’s to a perfect prospect, because they fear that they will be rejected.

But the truth is, how ever the prospect responds, there is no chance that they will be rejected.

Sure, it’s possible the offer will be rejected. But there is a difference between YOU and your offer.

I know, this is hard to remember when your offer is for your personal service. If the prospect says no, it really feels as though they are rejecting you, but they’re not.

Remember…it’s not about you.

Your job as an agent of change is to open up a new possibility for them in their area of need, and then make an Irresistible Offer so that they can step forward into that new possibility with a structure for transformation.

When they say yes, they say yes to themselves! They say yes to the new possibility. They say yes to their commitment.

So you have to remember the flip side too!

It’s not about you.

When they say yes, they are saying yes to themselves. They are investing in themselves through you.

If you think of your offer this way, you have a better chance of being what I call “committed but not attached.”

You’re committed to their making a decision yes or no. But you’re not attached to what that decision is.

Because…

It’s not about you. 😉
