Small Event, Big Money

ConferencePeople often think that they need to have at least 100 attendees in order to consider their live event a success, but that’s just not so.

I regularly see live events with only 12-18 people in the room, bringing in $50,000-$100,000.

How do they do it?

At the event, they simply offer an upsell of a six-month or year-long group coaching or mastermind program.

One of the secrets for having your own small event gross big money is to fill it with clients who already know, like and trust you.

Your ideal participants are clients who have invested highly in the past, but don’t overlook those who may not have invested a lot, but who have been following you for a while. It may be their time to take the plunge.

To help fill the room, consider offering your daylong or weekend event as a bonus, and hold it at a favorite spa location, such as Miraval.

Then you just need to come up with a next-level course for your attendees to invest in.

The last time I did this, 4 of the 18 participants signed up for my year-long mastermind program, including one at the diamond level, so my small gathering ended up being a very lucrative six-figure event.
