My company has seen extradordinary growth over the past several years, earning a coveted spot on the Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing privately-held companies in the U.S. for the past two years in a row.
But more important is what I get to do. I get to help experts who are making a difference get their message out.
A big part of that success is because of the three words that have become my mantra. They are:
Listen, act, trust. In that order.
Listen. Listen inside to the call in your heart. That’s your wisest and clearest guidance and counsel. Also, look at what’s happening around you. There are lessons and messages everywhere.
Act. When you understand what you need to do, take the action. Don’t over-think it. Don’t get stuck in analysis paralysis. And don’t keep asking other people what you should do. They don’t actually know, because it’s not their journey. It’s yours.
Trust. Now, this can be the hardest part, but, once you have acted, trust the decision you made. You will encounter resistance. That’s normal. You may be tested to see if you’re going to stick with it. Are you going to trust yourself?
Heeding this mantra has made all the difference for me.
I listen, I act, and I trust, every day.
