In our year-long Sales, Authenticity & Success Mastermind (aka Sassy) program, we do some sneaky things to make sure that our clients are getting the learning on a deep level while having fun.

We have at least two live retreats each year in a beautiful resort location, and we do some very deep training so that these experts can learn how to sell without being salesy in any situation – from the stage, teleseminars, webinars.

Then, to help them lock in their learning and bond as a tribe, all while having a blast, we do what we call a “Sassy activity.”

One of my favorites so far was a chili cook-off, where we put everyone into teams, and after they made their chili, they had to use all of our sales training techniques to sell it to a panel of expert coaches and me. So they used their Irresistible Offer, their limiters, their on-the-spot close without being salesy.

To inspire their best effort, we used reward. And one Sassy team of 10 went home with a beautiful trophy to proudly display, as well as the knowledge that they’re now out there killing it with their sales conversion while making a huge difference in people’s lives.
