Inspiration in an elevator

It’s Michele PW, Lisa’s personal copywriter and also your roving reporter at Lisa Sasevich’s SOLD OUT and LAST-EVER “Big Mission, Big Sales, Big Life” Event.

True story — I had this mind-opening experience when I was in the elevator coming down to the event this morning. The elevator had stopped and a woman got on pushing one of those double strollers. We had to shuffle around to make room for her, and I saw she had on a name tag for this event. She saw us looking at it and she said…

Well, I’ll let her tell you in her own words. I tracked her down later today and asked her to share her story and how she ended up at this event with not one but 2 babies in tow.

Watch it here.

  1. As a fellow twins mom, I loooove this video!
To me, my kids have opened me to my unique gift, so instead of being a reason I hold back, they are the key to my opening.
Yes, there are times when I wonder how the hell do I do the mom, wife, entrepreneur combo… and then I look in my kids’ eyes and realize: to be the best parent I can be, I owe it to them & to myself to MODEL following my heart & bringing my gifts.
Thank you to Lisa & to the woman in this video for being such powerful models to me!
(and keep breast feeding mama!! I remember those years of the double football hold 🙂

  2. @Jody, thank you for sharing the message about being a model for our children.

I’m setting the example to NOT settle for less than what we want to my 9-year old daughter. I want her to get being happy with no compromise.

I can also relate to what Valerie shared in the video where I join forces with like-minded people. I call it a JoyVenture (joint adventure)

  3. Inspirational, it is important that us mom’s (and Dad’s) connect with ourselves and live from our hearts.
As a parent our children learn from us, look up to us, and model our behaviors.

If we are not living our dreams then how can we expect our children to find the
    courage to live theirs.

    xoxo

  4. Really enjoyed your word on Forgiveness Lisa. And Tim was great too
with the message about the four elements of Purpose. I attended the
your last event and wish so much that I could have come this
time. You are an inspiration and I SO appreciate YOU.

Looking forward to the next video. Thank you for your brilliant
    Back Stage opportunity.

    Together we will go further,

  5. I am so sad that I could not be there in person, but I am psyched about being able to follow you online. The enthusiasm looks contagious. Have a great weekend.

  6. Children learn more from what you do
than what you say. What’s even better is when
your words match your actions. That makes
for the best kind of role model.

  7. Kudos to you for getting yourself to the event and for making it
work for both you and your babies – one of the beautiful things
about discovering our own worth, our mission, our purpose and then
most importantly what Lisa is teaching – how to COMMUNICATE that
in a way that makes sense and is resonant for the Divine Clients
we want to attract is that we make the choice to model for others
a more compassionate way of contributing. Compassionate to ourselves
and honoring of our own choices about how to live and to show
    up in the world.

I myself decided that this time the best thing I could do for
me and MY BABY who is now over my head is to Stay Home – I wrote
    about it here: http://amethystwyldfyre.wordpress.com/2010/10/21/staying-home/

What I’m really grateful for is that Lisa was brilliant enough to
bring the event to me! Thank you for sharing!

    Love and SASSY Blessings,

    Amethyst

  8. What an inspirational message, Valerie! You model “NO EXCUSES” for not living and having the life, both business and personal, that you desire and deserve. Thank you!
