how to get speaking gigs

It’s Michele PW, Lisa’s personal copywriter and also your roving reporter at Lisa Sasevich’s SOLD OUT and LAST-EVER “Big Mission, Big Sales, Big Life” Event.

As a follower of Lisa’s, you may have noticed that tithing and giving back is one of her core beliefs. For this event, Lisa chose the eWomen Network Foundation to be the event’s beneficiary. Yesterday she invited Kym and Sandra Yancey, the founders, on stage with her to introduce the foundation’s good work to all of us.

However, what happened was a fascinating glimpse as to what you need to do to get yourself booked on REALLY big stages (3,000 entrepreneur) even when there’s LOTS of competition (over 1200 speakers applying for 30 spots).

I’ve captured that gold here.

(FYI — we’ve raised over $70,000 and still have 2 days to go! If you want to check it out and maybe make a donation, here’s the link — http://www.ewomennetworkfoundation.org)

More later,

Michele PW

  1. WOW – Addressing the Pain Points – every one – finding the ways to BEST serve – being authentic
and my guess is too that knowing you Lisa you were UNATTACHED to the outcome! Just like when we
are speaking to potential clients – it’s the same isn’t it? Someone with a STAGE for us to speak
on is as much our potential client as the potential clients we may meet from that stage.

I’m getting it – slow learning here – but I’m definitely getting it!

I’ve met Sandra – she’s got an awesome story – a true pioneer! Just like you!

Loving the back stage pass – and I’m SURE that the in front of the stage seats
are getting a HUGE value from being in your presence!

    All light to you….

  2. Authenticity and connection. “How can I serve you??” Powerful ways to connect with others.

  3. great way to connect with potential JV partners. Coming from service and looking for how to meet the needs of the client group/audience.
    Lovely to see their reaction.

  4. Kim’s comment substantiates what I’ve heard elsewhere – it’s all in the subject line of your email. Yours asked a question “How Can I serve you?” and did not assume you
knew it all nor were you going to SELL and assume you knew the audience’s Pain points.
Very engaging. I appreciate your sharing these wonderful snippets.

  5. Wonderful to get such high praise and awesome response from Kym.
Goes to show you how easy it is when you know how to speak to sell:)
Great leadership Lisa, your changing lives!

    Blessings,

  6. Hello Lisa,

I usually LOVE your videos however,
with the last two I’ve watched I don’t know
if they ended where they should or if the video just cut out.
There is no scroll bar to indicate what stage the video is at.
It gets really interesting and VOILA! it’s ended…
this one ended at “You addressed every pain point we had.”

Michele PW’s ended just at the title of her new program? I think.

    I WANT MORE!! LOL
