Each of us has our own hero’s journey—the milestones and turning points that have led us to where we are right now.

There have been several milestones along my way, but the turning point for me was when my mom passed away when I was only 19.

Admittedly, I felt a bit lost. But as fate would have it, someone at my corporate job invited me to an evening session of a live event they were attending.

That was when the lights went on for me, and, soon thereafter, I attended my first three-day live event devoted to personal growth. It transformed my life and my thinking in such a profound way that I went on to spend a lot of years learning in live event group settings.

That eventually led me to hosting my own live events that lift people up, show them a bigger vision and, in many cases, transform their lives. And I love teaching you how to do the same with your work in the world.

Of course, it’s amazing to literally make a year’s income in three days by hosting your own event and building in an offer to your higher-level work, but there’s so much more to it than the money. What feeds my soul, and the souls of my clients, is the difference we can make in people’s lives in a concentrated period of time. And it works for every topic from personal to business development.

Here are three other ways that hosting your own live event is food for the soul.

1. You Experience Yourself at a Higher Level.
When you get up there live on your own stage and do your own thing, and see the lightbulbs go off for the people in your audience, you really understand why you do what you do, and how much it matters in the world. That is so rejuvenating, like putting fuel in the tank. It will serve you for a very long time.

2. Other People Finally “Get” You.
All of those people in your life who never really understood you, finally do. I remember the first time my brother came to one of my live events and saw some of his own mentors, such as Brian Tracy, John Assaraf and Robert Allen, learning as students. He almost fell on the floor. He had no idea that my “sales training” business included people doing the deep work we were doing. I felt more seen and known by him than ever before, and we’ve had a new and improved relationship ever since.

3. You Birth Your Tribe.
If you follow the Event Profit Secrets model, you get to birth your own awesome tribe of committed clients, who are willing to invest in themselves highly and who will actually do the work and, thus, enjoy the transformation you have to offer. Plus, month-by-month, you’ll have reliable, recurring revenue, and the best success stories from these amazing clients, who validate the power of your mentorship with their own success.

If you’re hungry for that kind of soul food, as well as the tools and systems for hosting your own highly profitable events that provide immediate value and pave the way to your own high-level groups, be sure to join me for Event Profit Secrets, and open your world to a new reality of what’s possible.
