For a recent ezine article, I spoke with entrepreneurs from different industries about their use of teleseminars and webinars. And I was so inspired by their answers, I decided to continue the conversation.
I asked Cathy Fisher, who offers a webinar-based, online learning series for automotive engineers, what her business would be like if she hadn’t started using those tools.
She said, were it not for her shift to webinars in 2013, “I would either be continuing to drudge it out, dragging my weary body all over the place for a pittance, not really feeling like I am making a difference, and having nothing to show for all that effort.
“Or, I would have just boxed up my business and let my 30+ years of industry experience and my gift for making complex technical topics/tools easy to understand and apply evaporate.”
She goes on to say that introducing the use of webinars re-invigorated her joy for her business, and as a result, “my personal life is a lot happier, more balanced and I feel I am really making a difference in the lives of the next generation of engineers as well as the manufacturing organizations they work for.”
