When I say “set” a goal, I don’t mean just saying it out loud or writing it down.
I’m talking about a practice that I do to “set” my goal in spirit, set it in stone, set it in my consciousness, and embody it.
When I get an idea of something that I want to manifest in my life or business, I connect it to some other stretch experience, where I’m going further than I might have gone before.
For instance, I’ll tell myself, “Lisa, if you run all the way to the top of that hill without stopping, you’re going to have more than 500 people at your next event.” Or, “One of your students is going to break 7 figures.”
So I’m putting my goal at stake while, at the same time, using it to propel myself forward.
And through this powerful goal-setting process, I’m accomplishing something that I wouldn’t have otherwise accomplished, and gaining another level of confidence that my goal is going to manifest.
