3 Reasons to Host a Small Event

When you’re just starting out, the thought of hosting your own live event can be scary.

You may be thinking about the risks, booking the hotel, and all the months of planning you might have to do.

Fortunately, there is another option. You can pull together a small event. Here are 3 reasons to consider doing just that:

1. Less risk on the front end. With a small event, you don’t have to book hotels or make the other kind of financial commitments that you need to make when hosting a large event. And instead of all that time spent planning, you can literally be enrolling people one by one into an amazing three-day experience.

2. Less risk on the back end too. If you make an irresistible offer at a small event and it’s not exactly something you want to do over and over, you can still do a great job for those people who sign up, but then make a different offer next time. With a large event, you might become known for that offer, and it’s more difficult to change it up.

3. They’re more intimate. And greater intimacy happens to lead to better sales conversion. So, contrary to what people often think, putting more people in a room doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll sell more. In fact, some of the most powerful results that I’ve seen from my clients are when they have pulled together groups of only 12 to 36 people.
